Dear Students,
We are overjoyed to announce that the 2015 IACBQ Writing Competition is now open!!!This year you will have to draw inspiration for your stories, from William Shakespeare’s incredibly amazing characters.
Do not worry if you don´t know them, just choose the one/ones you are most attracted to or repelled by and capture us, hold our attention and make us think, cry or laugh with your writing!!!

Category 0 :
- 2nd grade,3 rd grade, 4th grade
- Pre-Teens I and II
Category 1 :
- Intensive I, II and III
- 5th and 6th grade
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd year
Category 2 :
- Intensive IV, V, VI
- 4th , 5th and 6th year
Category 3:
- Intensive VII , 7 th year
- FCE, CAE, CPE, Language through Literature,
- IACBQ Reading Group Students and former students
Submission Guidelines
Make sure you follow the instructions given to avoid being disqualified.
1. All entries are judged anonymously, do not include your name.
2. Your story can be short or long but it must fit on no more than two A4 sheets of paper.
3. All genres are accepted (poem, short story, graphic novel, science fiction, tragedy, comedy, fantasy, fairy tale, horror, mystery , etc)
4. The deadline for submissions is Friday August, 21 st.
5. The Librarians will register your real name and work.

7. A panel of four judges will select the best stories, which will be announced on September, 21 st.
Accept the challenge and enjoy the writing process as much as William Shakespeare must have enjoyed it!!!!
